THRISSUR : The brother of the late famous music director G. Devarajan Master’s brother was found dead in his flat. Thrissur kaaralam Venginisseri Heetanjali house resident G. Raveendran (93) was found dead in his flat in Guruvayur. He is a retired district panchayat secretary.
He was single and had been living alone in the Capital Saffron flat in the western courtyard near the Guruvayur temple for the past five years. When Raveendran was not seen outside the flat for two days, the nearby residents informed the temple police.
Later, when the police arrived and checked, they found him dead. Devarajan Master and Raveendran are the sons of Kochugovindan Ashan and Kochukunju of Punnakatt house in Kottapuram, Paravur. After police formalities, the body was shifted to the Thrissur Medical College morgue. After the postmortem, he will be cremated at the public crematorium in Lalur, Thrissur on Friday.
