Tata Motors has launched the Harrier.ev at an introductory price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings will open on July 2.
From the outside, the Harrier.ev can be easily differentiated from the ICE version thanks to a sleeker-looking front fascia with an LED lightbar, a different bumper and 19-inch aero-optimized wheels.

The Harrier.ev is loaded with tech, starting with the 14.53-inch touchscreen with the world’s first Samsung Neo QLED display. The SUV also comes with a digital instrument cluster and a 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. It has a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, a 10-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos 5.1, a digital IRVM, 4 drive modes, 6 terrain modes, connected car features and OTA updates. The Harrier.ev comes with Level 2 ADAS. It has a 540-degree surround camera with a new DrivePay feature for FASTag and EV charging point payments.

The Harrier.ev is based on Tata’s Acti.ev platform and comes with a dual-motor setup, giving it all-wheel-drive capabilities. There are two battery options on offer: 65 kWh and 75 kWh, with a maximum range of up to 627 km.

The lower variants are equipped with a 65 kWh battery which powers a single electric motor. It delivers 308 BHP to the rear wheels. Higher variants get a 75 kWh battery pack and dual electric motors generating 287 BHP and 504 Nm of torque. The Harrier.ev can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.

Tata claims the 75 kWh battery pack has a range of 627 km (MIDC cycle), which translates to a real-world range of 480-505 km for the 75 kWh RWD version. The EV comes with a 7.2 kW AC charger, which can replenish the battery from 10-100% in 10.7 hours. The SUV can be charged from 20-80% in 25 minutes using a 120 kW DC fast charger.

Tata is offering a lifetime warranty on the battery.
