Attingal. A clash broke out at Alankode Government VHS yesterday between senior students and students who had recently taken admission for Plus One.
The senior students asked the admitted students their names again and when they said their names, the initial push and shove started. This culminated in a clash. It is alleged that around ten senior students attacked the newly admitted students. In the incident, students Amin Amir Muneer were seriously injured. The students say that they were hit in the eyes, head and body.
The school suspended 7 senior students yesterday. The parents of the students who were assaulted have also filed a complaint with the Nagaroor police. Based on the complaint, a meeting led by the school management, PTA, parents, and police will be held and immediate further action will be taken, the VHSE principal said.
