The counting of votes for the Bihar assembly elections has begun. The postal ballots will be counted first. The counting of votes will be done at 46 centers in the state. The first indications will be available by 9 am. The picture may be completely clear by 2 pm. The counting will progress with 14 EVMs in one round. Although all the exit polls are showing fluctuations, the NDA is predicting a victory.

But the grand alliance and its chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav claim that the verdict will reject the exit polls. The grand alliance leaders are hoping that the high voting percentage is due to anti-government sentiment. However, NDA leaders share full confidence in the superiority of the exit poll results. BJP leaders clarify that the exit polls are the true will of the people.

The main fight is between the NDA led by Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) and BJP and the Bharatiya Janata Party led by Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD and Congress. The voting was held in two phases in 243 constituencies and recorded a voter turnout of 66.91 percent. This is a record turnout after 20 years.
