Excise has sent notices to actors in the Alappuzha hybrid cannabis case. Excise notices have been sent to Shine Tom Chacko and Sreenath Bhasi. They have been directed to appear for questioning on Monday. The excise department took the move after collecting evidence including WhatsApp chats. Most of the chats found on Taslima’s phone were attributed to Sreenath Bhasi.
Taslima, the accused in the Alappuzha hybrid cannabis case, had revealed to the excise that she knew Shine Tom Chacko and other actors. Taslima had also given a statement to the excise that she had used drugs together with Shine Tom Chacko.
